In addition to the single-player experience, there are also two extra multiplayer modes available. They cater to both players sharing a device and those who wish to participate in internet-based weekly tournaments.

The game's original story centers around the chaos caused by the Zoorgs, which has resulted in a distortion of space-time, displacing people, animals, and objects from their original locations. The Time Geeks must take control of this situation to prevent a total collapse of space-time before it's too late.
